Our Story
Dear Listener,
I am a mother, a first responder, and a follower of Christ who understands what it means to stand firm in your faith when few around you fully understand your convictions.
After years of living as a prodigal, the Lord graciously drew me back to Himself. As my relationship with Christ deepened, I was filled with a renewed zeal for God's Word and a desire to see my family and friends grow closer to Him as well. While that wasn't always the case, the Lord continued His work in my own life, teaching me to seek Him wholeheartedly and remain rooted in His truth.
Along the way, I realized there are countless believers around the world who love Christ deeply yet often feel spiritually alone. Many are surrounded by lukewarm faith, unbelief, or a lack of biblical encouragement in their homes, workplaces, and even their churches. Though they may be surrounded by people, they long for deeper discipleship, stronger faith, and meaningful spiritual growth.
Many of the lessons God has taught me have come through seasons of spiritual loneliness, including navigating an unequally yoked marriage and learning to depend on Christ more deeply. Through those experiences, He has shown me that our strength is found not in the support of others, but in remaining anchored to His Word and faithful to His calling.
My heart was burdened for these brothers and sisters, and I knew God was calling me to encourage them through His Word.
The Lone Sentinel exists to help women grow strong in God's Word and walk faithfully with Christ. Through personal testimony, biblical teaching, and honest conversations, my desire is to point women back to Scripture, encourage spiritual growth, and help them remain steadfast in their faith through every season of life.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, seeking deeper discipleship, or simply longing to know Christ more intimately, I pray this ministry encourages you to stay rooted in truth, grow in Christ, and faithfully follow Him wherever He leads.
I'm so glad you're here.
In Christ,
~Lydia~
